Epiphytic, stemless, very slender, 4-6 cm high; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous, conspicuously flattened, 0.1-0.15 cm wide; stem almost lacking; leaves reduced to minute scales, glabrous. Inflorescence slender, 4-6 cm long; peduncle filiform, terete, glabrous; rachis rather laxly several-flowered, distichous, to 0.5 cm long. Floral bracts concave, ovate, acute or acuminate, glabrous, much shorter than the ovary. Sepals linear-lanceolate, acute, glabrous, 0.4 cm long. Lateral sepals somewhat oblique. Petals similar to the sepals but a little shorter and narrower, somewhat oblique. Lip concave, at the base cuneate, ovate-elliptic, apex swollen, acuminate, with the margins towards the apex somewhat incurved, as long as the petals, near the middle 0.25 cm wide; spur inflated, obtuse, a little narrowed towards the mouth, almost 0.2 cm long. Column short; rostellum elongated, apex bifid, ascending. Anther at the base rounded, long rostrate, acuminate; pollinia 4, obliquely pear-shaped; stipe very slender, towards the apex abruptly conspicuously dilated; viscidium minute, oblong. Ovary subclavate, glabrous, 0.25 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1905)


Flower very pale, almost white.

Epiphyte in lowland forest; 40 to 200 m.
