Type: Schlechter 19746 (holo B, lost)

Epiphyte without leaves. Roots flexuose, flattened, c. 15 cm long, 0.2-0.3 cm wide. Inflorescence densely many-flowered, including the muricate-hispid peduncle 1.5 cm long. Floral bracts muricate, acute, much shorter than the ovary. Sepals oblong, apiculate, outside keeled and sparsely muriculate, 0.3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, a little narrower than the median sepal. Petals obliquely ligulate, almost as long as the sepals, obtuse, with swollen mid-vein, outside sparsely muriculate. Lip in outline suborbicular, as long as the petals, 3-lobed in the middle, in the middle with a cuneate cavity decurrent on the base; lateral lobes obliquely triangular, obtuse; mid-lobe twice as large, triangular-ovate, obtuse; spur oblongoid obtuse, sparsely dentate-keeled, as long as the ovary.
