Epiphyte without leaves. Roots strongly flattened, flexuose, shiny above, 0.25-0.33 cm wide, to 15 cm long. Inflorescence densely few-flowered, including the slender peduncle 1 cm long. Floral bracts minute, deltoid, much shorter than the ovary. Flowers rather small, glabrous, opening in succession. Sepals and petals oblong-ligulate, obtuse, outside obtusely keeled, almost equally long, c. 0.4 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Lip in outline elliptic, above the middle 3-lobed, as long as the petals, in the middle almost 0.2 cm wide; lateral lobes rounded, short; mid-lobe distinctly larger, ovate, obtusely pointed, entirely covered by a V-shaped callus, except in the centre of the basal part of the mid-lobe; spur narrowly oblongoid, laterally flattened, as long as the lip. Column short; rostellum very large. Anther at the base rounded-cucullate, long oblong-rostrate, at the apex 3-dentate; pollinia obovoid; stipe almost three times longer, narrowly oblanceolate; viscidium linear, as long as the stipe.
