Type: Schlechter 16963 (holo B, lost; iso BO, E, K, L 2x, MO, NSW)

Epiphytic, very small, leaf-bearing; roots somewhat flattened, filiform, flexuose, to 3 cm long, about 0.1 cm wide. Leaves 2-3, lanceolate-elliptic, acuminate, 0.5-1 cm long, near the middle 0.1-0.2 cm wide. Inflorescence laxly few-flowered, including the hair-like peduncle as long as the leaves or a little longer. Flowers minute, glabrous. Sepals ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, 0.15 cm long, lateral falcate-oblique. Petals obliquely ovate-lanceolate, obtusely acuminate, almost as long as the sepals. Lip suborbicular, subobtuse, with incurved apical margins, at the base concave-pitted, as long as the petals; spur globose, c. 1 mm diam. Column very short, thick. Anther subreniform-cucullate, obtuse; pollinia obliquely ovoid; stipe slender, gradually somewhat dilated towards the apex; viscidium oblong, minute.
