Epiphyte without leaves, very small; roots strongly flattened, flexuose, 0.3-0.4 cm wide, up to 20 cm long. Inflorescence densely few- to several-flowered, including the filiform peduncle up to 3 cm long. Floral bracts deltoid, minute, much shorter than the ovary. Flowers rather small, glabrous, opening in succession. Sepals oblong-ligulate, obtuse, 0.3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals oblique oblong, somewhat obtuse, almost as long as the sepals. Lip broadly rhombic, as long as the petals, 0.3 cm wide, in the middle indistinctly 3-lobed; at the apex ovate, thickened, obtuse, in the middle with a cavity; spur oblongoid, obtuse, 0.2 cm long. Column very short, glabrous; rostellum large, hammer-shaped. Anther at the base rounded-cucullate, linear-rostrate; pollinia obliquely obovoid; stipe at the base thin and slender, narrowly oblanceolate, twice as long as the pollinia; viscidium turned backwards, lanceolate; a third shorter than the stipe.
