Stem very short, leafless; roots to 30 cm long, 0.2-0.3 cm wide. Inflorescence several-flowered; peduncle filiform, 4-5 cm long; peduncle-scales two, minute, near the base and in the middle; rachis flexuose, angular, 0.8 cm long or more, internodes 0.15 cm long. Floral bracts in two alternating rows, clasping the rachis, triangular, acute, concave, keeled, 0.13 cm long. Flowers opening singly in succession. Sepals linear-caudate, acute, glabrous, 1.65 cm long, at the base 0.16 cm wide. Petals at the base lanceolate, filiform-elongated, fimbriate, 1.5 by 0.18 cm. Lip spurred, at the base suborbicular, rather narrowly triangular-contracted, filiform-elongated, 1.23 cm long, at the base 0.3 cm, wide; spur obovoid, 0.18 cm long. (After Smith, 1909)
