Synonyms:
Epiphyte without leaves. Roots flexuose, flattened, up to 15 cm long, c. 0.3 cm wide. Inflorescence densely few-flowered; including the densely muriculate-hispid peduncle up to 2.5 cm long. Floral bracts deltoid, much shorter than the ovary. Sepals ligulate-oblong, obtuse, outside muricate, 0.55 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely oblong-ligulate, somewhat shorter than the sepals, obtuse, outside with somewhat swollen, sparsely dentate mid-vein. Lip at the base semiorbicular, 3-lobed above the middle, as long as the petals, between the tips of the lateral lobes 0.45 cm wide, with two crescent-shaped thickenings extending from the base of the lip to the base of the mid-lobe, decurrent and merging in front; lateral lobes obliquely oblong, obtuse, short; mid-lobe twice as large, semi-square, retuse, minutely apiculate; spur ellipsoid, obtuse, sparsely dentate along the median line, as long as the lip.
