Type: Schlechter 16627 (holo B, lost)

Epiphytic, leafless, small; roots strongly flattened, slightly flexuose, c. 10 cm long, 0.2-0.25 cm wide. Inflorescence laxly 4-7-flowered; including the hair-like peduncle to 2 cm long. Floral bracts deltoid, apiculate. Flowers very small, glabrous. Sepals narrowly oblong, obtuse, not keeled, 0.25 cm long. Lateral sepals subfalcate-oblique. Petals obliquely lanceolate-oblong, obtuse, almost as long as the sepals. Lip at the base semiglobose-cucullate, narrowed towards the apex, subobtuse, as long as the petals. Column very short; rostellum short; pollinia obliquely obovoid. Ovary subsessile, glabrous, c. 0.2 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)
