Stem very short; roots elongated, narrowly linear, to 18 by 0.2 cm, glabrous above. Inflorescences several, many-flowered, producing flowers for a long time, glabrous; peduncle elongated, filiform, 2.5-3 cm long, in the basal part often with two minute scales; rachis with floral bracts comb-like, 0.13 cm wide, to 1.5 cm long. Floral bracts in two alternating rows, patent, clasping the rachis, triangular, acute, concave, 0.07 cm long. Flowers to 50, opening singly in succession, small. Median sepal spathulate-obovate, obtuse, 3-nerved, 0.24 by 0.1 cm. Lateral sepals oblong-obovate, obtuse, 3-nerved, 0.23 by 0.1 cm. Petals oblong-obovate, obtuse, minutely apiculate, 3-nerved, 0.2 by 0.1 cm. Lip spurred, 3-lobed, at the base broad, blade when spread 0.23 cm long and wide; spur pointing backwards, very short, angular-globose, 0.05 cm long; lateral lobes quadrangular, broader than long, coarsely crenate; mid-lobe smaller than the lateral lobes, bifid, in the middle with a triangular convex patch, the lobules obliquely quadrangular, acute. Column very short, 0.06 cm long, auricles thick, rounded. Ovary 6-grooved, 0.08 cm long; pedicel thinner, 0.16 cm long. (After Smith, 1909)
