Type: Schlechter 17109 (syn B, lost); 19283 (syn B, lost)

Epiphytic, small, leafless; roots flexuose, strongly flattened, to 20 cm long, 0.2-0.3 cm wide. Inflorescences several, very slender pedunculate, distichous, 6-10-flowered, 2-3 mm [cm?] long. Floral bracts minute, deltoid, much shorter than the ovary. Flowers opening in succession, very small, glabrous. Sepals oblong-ligulate, obtuse, 0.23 cm long, patent. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals similar to the sepals but a little smaller, oblique. Lip in outline elliptic-ovate, subobtuse, at the base cucullate-concave, slightly saccate, as long as the petals. Column short; rostellum short; anther square-cucullate, truncate; pollinia 4, obliquely globose, stipe at the base slender oblanceolate, almost as long as the pollinia; viscidium oblong, as long as the stipe. Flowers whitish yellow.

Epiphyte in lowland forest; 300 to 600 m.
