Synonyms:
Epiphyte, very small. Rhizome short. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs cylindrical-conical, 0.7-1 by 0.25-0.4 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, linear-ligulate, acute, glabrous, 1.8-5 by 0.3-0.65 near the middle; base narrowed. Inflorescence 1-flowered, 2-3 cm long, slender, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts very small, much shorter than the pedicellate ovary. Flower erect. Sepals oblong, apiculate, 0.7 cm long. Median sepal with finely ciliate margins. Lateral sepals glabrous, oblique, 0.85 cm long. Petals obliquely oblong, subobtuse, 0.35 cm long; front margin above the base obtusely angled; along the margins and to the apex minutely papillose. Lip fleshy, curved, rhomboid, obtuse, glabrous, 0.18 cm long, not surpassing the column; above 2-ribbed. Column semiterete, glabrous; stelidia subulate; column-foot somewhat incurved. Flower golden yellow. Median sepal with red-brown stripes. Petals and lip with blackish violet spots and stripes.
Epiphyte in lowland forest; 250 m.
Malesia (New Guinea).
Warm growing epiphyte.
