Epiphyte, pendulous, unbranched, 50-70 cm long. Rhizome stem-like. Roots filiform, glabrous. Pseudobulbs 1.5-2 cm apart, ovoid-cylindrical, 0.8-1.2 by 0.4-0.6 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf elliptic or broadly elliptic, acute, 4-5.5 by 0.2-0.35 cm in the middle; base shortly contracted. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, in fascicles, developing in succession, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts distinctly shorter than the ovary. Sepals lanceolate, acute, glabrous, 0.7 cm long, margins incurved. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals 2-armed, arms ligulate; the 4 lower appendages thinly stipitate, subulate, acute, papillose; the 5 upper appendages similar; between the petals arms with a very small, long stalked appendage and an eleventh appendage similar to then other ones next to it; petals appendages when spread 0.5 cm long. Lip fleshy, broadly obtuse, 0.25 cm long; base with 2 large, cordate auricles with thickened margins; above in front verruculose. Column thick, short; stelidia very short, triangular; column-foot somewhat incurved. Anther quadrangular-cucullate, umbonate, glabrous. Ovary shortly pedicellate, glabrous, 0.4 cm long.
