Type: Kloss s.n. (Camp 3, 2500 ft); (Camp 6a to 8, 3100 to 4900 ft.) (syn BM)

Stem slender 0.3 cm diam. Leaves lanceolate, acuminate, acute, at the base rounded, thin-textured, 8.4 by 1.5 cm, with 3-5 thin ribs; sheaths 7-10 cm long, ribbed, mouth entire. Inflorescences lateral, arising a little below the mouth of the leaf-sheath, 1 cm long. Floral bracts oblong, obtuse, imbricating, 0.2 cm long, several. Pedicels in pairs, patent, slender, to 1.6 cm long. Median sepal linear, obtuse, fleshy, 1.2 cm long, 0.15 cm wide. Lateral sepals oblong, lanceolate, fleshy, 0.2 cm wide. Petals linear, falcate, thin-textured, 0.6 cm long, narrower than the sepals, with thickened mid-vein. Labellum with a somewhat long claw, obovate, 0.7 by 0.35 cm, fleshy, at the apex papillose, with undulate margins, the median keel extending to near the apex. Column slender, curved, above hardly swollen, dorsally channelled; clinandrium not deep, with raised margins; rostellum entire, broad; stigma oblong. Climber in lower montane forest; 760 to 1490 m.
