Type: Schlechter 18181 (holo B, lost; iso AMES, L)

Epiphytic, simple, 20-25 cm long; roots filiform, glabrous. Stem elongated, densely leafy, 0.3-0.5 cm diam. Leaves erect-patent linear-ligulate, obtusely and unequally bilobulate, 5-8.5 cm long, near the middle 0.5-0.7 cm wide. Inflorescence filiform, rather laxly many-flowered, elongated, almost twice as long as the leaves. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, about as long as the ovary or a little longer. Flowers minute, glabrous. Sepals broadly ovate, subobtusely and very shortly acuminate, 0.08 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely oblong, obtuse, about as long as the sepals. Lip broadly square, apiculate, at the base somewhat concave, as long as the sepals. Column very short; rostellum bidentate; clinandrium low. Anther reniform-cordate, umbonate; pollinia obliquely obovoid; stipe linear, a little shorter than the pollinia; viscidium orbicular, minute. Ovary subsessile, glabrous, almost 0.2 cm long.

Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 1100 to 1300 m.
