Tuber oblong, 1.5 cm long. Cataphylls 2, short. Leaves 2, sometimes with a much smaller additional leaf, almost opposite, oblong, rarely lanceolate, acute, 6-9 by 2-2.8 cm. Inflorescence slender, 30-60 cm long, in the upper part with lanceolate, acute peduncle scales; rachis rather laxly few- or rarely several-flowered, 8-15 cm long. Floral bracts lanceolate, aristate, about half as long as the ovaries. Sepals ovate, 0.3-0.35 cm long, acute, apex reflexed. Petals smaller, oblong, about 0.3 cm long, acute. Lip 0.4-0.45 cm long, cuneate, in front divided into 3 almost equally long, divergent lobules, the sinuses between the lobules and the lateral margins of the lip somewhat uneven; spur very shortly saccate, about 0.1 by 0.1 cm, flattened, hidden between the lateral sepals. Column almost orbicular; stigmatic processes minute, anther channels absent. (After Schlechter, 1905)
