Epiphyte, very small, to 6 cm high. Rhizome short. Roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs cylindrical, to the apex gradually somewhat narrowed, 0.8-1.2 by 0.18-0.25 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, linear-ligulate, subapiculate, glabrous, 2.5-5 by 0.2-0.3 cm near the middle. Inflorescence 1-flowered, wiry, hardly surpassing 1.5 cm, glabrous, with few small distant peduncle-scales. Floral bracts very small, cucullate, apiculate, almost 5 times shorter than the pedicellate ovary. Flower rather small in the genus, erect. Sepals oblong-ligulate, apiculate, glabrous, 0.7 cm long, outside with keeled-swollen midrib. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals ligulate, acuminate, slightly curved, glabrous, 0.6 cm long, above the base outside convex-gibbose. Lip about slipper-shaped, almost as long as the sepals, 0.38 cm wide near the middle; base shortly clawed, elliptic; in front elongated in an oblong, obtuse, terminal lobule; inside with 3 thickened nerves; margins thickened; auricles very small, recurved, oblong, obtuse, in between with a backwards pointing, suborbicular callus. Column short, semiterete, glabrous; stelidia subulate, hardly longer than the basal third of the lip; column-foot short, incurved. Anther ovoid-cucullate, with a large oblong umbo, glabrous; base cordate. Ovary pedicellate, slender, glabrous, almost 0.6 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)
