Synonyms:
Epiphyte, very small, c. 10-12 cm high. Rhizome short. Roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs close together, conical-cylindrical; 1-leaved, 1.5-1.8 by 0.4-0.6 cm below the middle. Leaf erect, narrowly elliptic, acute, 6-8 by 1.3-1.7 cm near the middle; base gradually narrowed in a 1.5-2 cm long petiole. Inflorescence basal, c. 4-5 cm long, wiry, with few small distant sheaths. Floral bracts ovate-cucullate, shortly acuminate, much shorter than the ovary. Pedicel and ovary very slender, glabrous, 1.5 cm long. Flower small for the genus, suberect. Sepals oblong, apiculate, glabrous, 1.1 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, somewhat broader than the median sepal. Petals ascending, slightly sigmoid-curved, obliquely oblong, shortly acuminate, glabrous, 0.7 cm long; outside with thickened midrib. Lip elliptic, slipper-shaped; base very shortly clawed; basal auricles very small, recurved, narrowly falcate-oblong, obtuse, the callus between them quadrangular, decurrent in front; margins rather thick; inside with 3 thickened nerves; apically elongated in a very small, oblong, obtuse lobule. Flowers yellow. Sepals inside with light red lines. Petals with a few pale spots.
Epiphyte in montane forest; 2300 m.
Malesia (New Guinea).
