Synonyms:
Epiphyte to 10 cm long. Rhizome filiform. Roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs close together, oblong, ascending, subterete, glabrous, 0.5 by 0.2 cm below the middle; base creeping, somewhat depressed; 1-leaved. Leaf subpatent, oblong-elliptic, shortly acuminate, 0.6-0.9 by 0.3 cm; base contracted in a very short petiole. Inflorescence 1-flowered, erect, very slender, filiform, terete, glabrous, c. 1.5 cm long, with few peduncle-scales. Floral bracts ovate-acuminate, much shorter than the ovary, glabrous. Flowers rather small in the genus, pendulous. Median sepal almost spathulate-oblong, shortly acuminate, 0.6 cm long. Lateral sepals obliquely oblong-subspathulate, acuminate, almost as long as the median one. Petals obliquely obovate-spathulate, 0.5 cm long; apex aristate; upper half with lacerate-dentate margins. Lip large compared with the sepals, oblong, acuminate, concave, slender, glabrous, 0.6 by 0.3 cm near the middle; base shortly clawed, on either side with a minute lobule, with a minute callus between the lobules. Column for the genus slender; stelidia subulate falcate-porrect, surpassing the anther. Anther cucullate-helmet-shaped. Ovary pedicellate, clavate, glabrous, 0.4 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1905)
