Epiphyte, compact. Rhizome rather short. Roots filiform, glabrous. Pseudobulbs crowded, cylindrical, somewhat narrowed to the apex, 2-2.5 by 0.25-0.35 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, obliquely ligulate, acute, 10-13 by 1.5-1.8 cm near the middle; base cuneate. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts very small, much shorter than the subsessile ovary. Flower erect. Sepals connate up to above the middle into a bell-shaped tube, oblong, shortly acuminate, 1 cm long; outside glabrous; inside minutely papillose-puberulous; free parts recurved. Petals oblique, transverse, apiculate, minute, 0.15 by 0.25 cm in the middle. Lip immobile, fleshy, narrowly ligulate, subobtuse, acuminate, 0.75 cm long, with papillae acute, prickly; at the base on upper side somewhat concave. Column slender; stelidia quadrangular, apex incised-dentate; column-foot almost absent. Pedicel and ovary short, glabrous, 6.5 mm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)
