Type: Kloss s.n. (Camp 12 to 13, 11000 to 10500 ft.) (holo BM)

Rhizome slender. Pseudobulbs cylindrical, close together, 0.7 cm long, covered with ascending pale sheaths. Leaf linear, 4 by 0.2 cm; base shortly narrowed; apex shortly narrowed, obtuse. Inflorescence filiform, 7-7.5 cm long, 1-flowered; basal sheath tubular, 0.5 cm long, the top lanceolate, acute. Floral bract shortly poculiformis, with a subulate tooth, as long as the subsessile, 0.2 cm long ovary. Sepals caudate, very narrow, 3 by hardly 0.1 cm at the base, yellow. Lateral sepals connate, with short free top, base gibbose. Petals linear, caudate, somewhat (about 2 mm) shorter, glabrous. Lip 0.2 cm long, purple, lanceolate, claw very short decurved; stelidia very small rounded erect thin, margins of the blade erect with long white hairs, apex flat, not thickened. Column very short; column-foot long; stelidia from a broad base long acuminate, as long as the column-foot. Anther conical, with rounded apex, obtuse. (After Ridley, 1916)
