Synonyms:
Roots thin, white. Rhizome pendulous, 0.25 cm thick, covered with coarsely ribbed grayish bracts. Pseudobulbs 2 cm apart, ovoid, sharply 24 quadrangular in cross-section, to 1 cm long. Leaves almost sessile, oblong, acute, to 33 mm long, 15 mm wide. Inflorescence very short, oneflowered. Pedicel and ovary 0.7 cm long, the bract of equal length. Sepals elliptic-oblong, acuminate, rather fleshy, dorsally somewhat warty; the dorsal 0.55 by 0.25 cm, the laterals 0.46 by 0.2 cm. Petals reduced to a very narrow strip at each side of the column, with a 0.05 cm long point at each end. At each point 5 long-haired, lanceolate, obtuse; appendages 0.04 cm long, between the two points another 0.03 cm long, ventrally with a longitudinal slit with fimbriate, margins which opens towards both ends, with laterally and dorsally minutely, globose papillae. Column 0.1 cm long, ventrally with two triangular wings and subobsolete stelidia, which have at their base a minute, downwards directed point. (After Vermeulen, 1982)
