Rhizome creeping. Pseudobulbs close together, arranged in rows, narrowly ovoid, long attenuate, later longitudinally multigrooved, c. 2-3.2 by 0.5-0.95 cm; 1-leaved. Leaf lanceolate, subacuminate, acute; base narrowed and conduplicate; midrib above grooved, underneath prominently obtuse, c. 11 by 2.2 cm. Inflorescences from the nodes of the rhizome, fascicled, 1-flowered; peduncle filiform, c. 3 cm long; with few small, tubular, to the top dilated scales. Floral bract at he base tightly tubular, obliquely infundibuliform-widened, subulate-acuminate, keeled, 0.4 cm long. Flower very small. Median sepal incurved between the lateral sepals (always?), oblong-ovate, acute, conical-apiculate, concave, 0.63 by 0.27 cm; apex papillose-finely ciliate; nerves 3 dorsally prominent pale greenish. Lateral sepals divergent, subvertical, obliquely oblong, obtuse, apiculate, concave, 0.83 by 0.47 cm, fleshy; nerves c. 5, dorsally prominent. Petals very small, parallel, appressed to the column, shortly spathulate, subundulate, 0.23 cm long; claw subquadrangular 0.1 cm wide; blade transversely elliptic, truncate, 0.13 by 0.18 cm. Lip mobile, curved, oblong, tongue-shaped, in lateral view triangular with the bent part thickest, broadly obtuse, fleshy, 0.23 cm long; above convex, the basal part concave; underneath in front papillose. Column pale yellow, 0.14 cm long; stelidia subulate, Anther shorter, apex purple. Anther cucullate, pale yellow; connective swollen. Pollinia 4, laterally compressed, elliptic, semitransparent, the 2 inner ones outer as large as but very thin; stigma deeply concave, suborbicular; column-foot making an obtuse angle with the ovary, apex slightly incurved and on either side in lobule minute dilated, dorsally convex, 0.2 cm long. Pseudobulbs indistinctly glaucous-green. Floral bracts pale, with green apex and keel. Median sepal white, dark purple-punctate; apex dark purple, somewhat shiny; nerves pale greenish. Lateral sepals inside golden yellow, in the lower half inside densely dark purple-punctate, outside paler, sparsely and hardly distinctly purple, not punctate. Petals hyaline, dark purple-spotted. Lip pale ochrish; above except in the middle lower part with longitudinal, dark purple-punctate bands; underneath in basal half white; base sparsely, above densely dark purple punctate.

Epiphyte in lowland forest.
