Epiphyte, very small. Rhizome very short. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs minute, ovoid or suborbicular, 0.18-0.2 cm high; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, narrowly elliptic-ligulate, acute, 0.7-1.4 by 0.28-0.5 cm; base gradually narrowed. Inflorescence 1-flowered, 1.6 cm long, wiry, with a few peduncle-scales. Floral bracts cucullate, almost as long as the ovary. Flower not resupinated. Sepals lanceolate, subobtuse, 0.4 cm long, glabrous. Lateral sepals oblique, the margins tightly connate to the apex. Petals at the base ovate-lanceolate, subulate-caudate, 0.28 cm long; the lower half ciliate. Lip linear, 0.35 cm long; base with 2 falcate-rounded lobules or auricles; margins on either side with two rows of short, at the apex thickened bristle-like hairs; apex terminated by an obtuse, globose wart. Column very short; stelidia linear, subacute, straight, rather long; column-foot well developed, straight. Anther high helmet-shaped, glabrous. Ovary sessile, cylindrical, glabrous, 0.1 cm long. Flower light wine red, yellowish at the base. Lip blackish violet.

Epiphyte in lowland forest; 150-200 m.
