Epiphyte, branched, erect, bushy, 20-35 cm high. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Rhizome stem-like, somewhat rigid, covered with sheaths. Pseudobulbs distant, adnate to the rhizome, cylindrical, 0.3-0.4 cm long; 1-leaved. Leaf erect-patent, ligulate or oblong, apiculate, 1.7-2.7 by 0.4-0.8 cm in the middle. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts cucullate, only slightly longer than the ovary. Sepals oblong, obtuse, glabrous, 0.4 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, the basal two-third connate. Petals ovate-lanceolate, almost as long as the sepals; margins subdentate; apex subulate-elongated. Lip rhombic-semioblong, obtuse, 0.2 cm long; base narrowly cuneate; basal callus short, notched; in apical half the margins densely finely ciliate. Column short; stelidia falcate-ascending, with shortly cuspidate apex; column-foot straight. Anther helmet shaped-cucullate, glabrous. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, hardly 0.2 cm long.
