Epiphyte, very small, creeping. Rhizome gradually elongated. Roots filiform, glabrous. Pseudobulbs crowded, appressed to the rhizome, oblongoid, 0.25-0.35 cm long; 1-leaved. Leaf patent, appressed to the substrate, elliptic, obtuse, or apiculate, 0.5-0.8 by 0.3-0.45 cm in the middle. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, covered with a few sheaths, hardly 0.2 cm long. Floral bracts apiculate, somewhat longer than the ovary. Flower minute. Sepals ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, 0.28 cm long. Lateral sepals connate up to near the apex, boat-shaped. Petals obliquely lanceolate, acute, almost 3-4 times shorter than the sepals. Lip oblanceolate-spathulate, obtuse, somewhat longer than the petals; margins with recurved, bristle-like hairs which are longest in the middle, margins finely ciliate. Column short; stelidia falcate-subulate, very long; column-foot straight, fairly long. Anther cucullate, glabrous. Ovary sessile, cylindrical, glabrous, 0.08 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)

Epiphyte in lowland forest; 100 m.
