Epiphyte, erect or spreading, 10-20 cm long. Rhizome stem-like, covered with sheaths. Roots filiform, flexuose. Pseudobulbs subparallel to the rhizome, close together, cylindrical, 0.5 by 0.15 cm; 1-leaved. Leaf linear, apiculate, 2.5-4 by 0.25-0.6 cm above the middle; base gradually narrowed. Inflorescence 1-flowered, very short, with a few peduncle-scales. Floral bracts very small, much shorter than the ovary. Sepals ovate, acute, glabrous, 0.4 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely ligulate, broadly obtuse, 0.18 cm long. Lip fleshy, tongue-shaped, lanceolate, obtuse, 0.25 cm long; underneath except the base densely covered with clavate papillae; above in the middle slightly grooved. Column very short; stelidia subulate, hardly exceeding the middle of the lip; column-foot short, apex somewhat incurved. Anther ellipsoid-cucullate, glabrous. Ovary shortly pedicellate, glabrous, 0.6 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)

Epiphyte in lowland forest; 170-800 m.
