Epiphyte, very small, c. 8-9 cm high. Rhizome very short. Roots filiform, flexuose, slender, glabrous. Pseudobulbs close together, narrowly ovoid, 0.8-1.3 mm high, 0.3-0.5 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, oblong-ligulate, subobtuse or apiculate; blade 4.3-6 by 0.8-1.1 cm near the middle; base narrowed into a short, 0.3-0.5 cm long petiole. Inflorescences 1-flowered, several from the base of the pseudobulbs, erect, slender; peduncle 3.5-4.5 cm long, setose, with 2-3 distant small sheaths: Bract cuculate-ovate, shortly acuminate, many times shorter than the pedicellate ovary. Flower large for the section, suberect. Sepals oblong-ligulate, subacute, glabrous, 0.8 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, hardly wider than the median one. Petals very small, obliquely lanceolate, acute, glabrous, hardly longer than 0.15 cm. Lip curved, ligulate, above the base the margins on either side dilated in a triangular, obtuse, ciliate ligulate blade ; apex somewhat, obtuse; apical third equally ciliate, in total hardly 0.4 cm long.
