Epiphytes, probably patent. Rhizome c. 0.3 cm diam.; rhizome scale leaves rather long persistent. Pseudobulbs c. 0.4 cm apart, oblique, ovoid, 1.5–1.8 by 0.6–0.7 cm, obtusely angular in section. Leaf petiole 0.4–0.5 cm long; blade elliptic-ovate, 3.7–4.1 by 0.9–1.1 cm, index 3.7–4.2, with acute apex. Inflorescences 1.5–2 cm long, solitary, 1-flowered; peduncle c. 0.3 cm long; scale leaves 2, the longest c. 0.4 cm long; floral bracts c. 0.4 cm long. Pedicel and ovary c. 0.65 cm long; basal node c. 0.2 cm above the floral bract attachment. Median sepal free, c. porrect, towards the apex recurved, ovate-triangular, c. 0.75 by 0.28 cm, index 2.6–2.7, rather thin; margins entire; apex subacute; glabrous; 3-nerved. Lateral sepals as the median sepal but slightly oblique, c. 0.75 by 0.32 cm, index 2.3–2.4. Petals free, porrect, rhombiform, c. 0.23 by 0.14 cm, index 1.6–1.7, thin`; margins slightly erose; apex subacute; glabrous; 1-nerved. Lip slightly beyond halfway strongly recurved, in outline ovate-oblong, c. 0.21 by 0.11 cm, index c. 1.9 (without spreading), thick; margins densely papillose; above slightly concave and with 2 low calli near the base, with a depression in between which continues as a shallow median furrow up to 2/3rd of the length of the lip, apical part convex, upper surface papillose except near the base, with antrorse papillae coarsest towards the margins, arranged in transverse rows except near the apex of the lip; below with a median ridge with a rounded crest towards the base, glabrous, but somewhat finely papillose towards the margins; apex obtuse. Column including stelidia c. 0.19 cm long; column foot not widened; stigma elliptic; stelidia porrect, triangular, c. 0.11 cm long, with acute apex; anther on underside with a narrow, rounded ridge, front drawn out into a thick, rounded papillose beak; pollinia 4, the inner ones about as long as the outer ones; without appendages.
