  • Species Dendrobium Dendrobium shramii

Dendrobium shramii is most similar to D. limpidum but differs in the much narrower leaves (0.2-0.25 cm versus 0.7-1 cm), 4-angular stems (versus elliptic to rhombic in section), flowers with rhombic-ligulate, erose-papillose petals (versus broadly oblanceolate, erose) and lip divided in the middle by the septum (hypochile and epichile each 0.5 cm long versus hypochile 0.45 cm and epichile 0.55 cm long).

Dendrobium shramii differs from D. dichaeoides in the articulate leaves (versus non-articulate leaves).

The name commemorates A.K.M. Marsh or" Shram", friend of the author.
