Pseudobulbs distinct, erect, (ovoid-) cylindrical, 3.5–4.2 by 0.8–1.6 cm, not or slightly angular in cross-section. Leaf: petiole 0.8–1.8 cm long; blade elliptic to obovate, 5.5–9.5 by 1.8–3.5 cm, index 2.2–3.2; apex rounded. Inflorescence c. 7 cm long, 1-flowered; peduncle 1.1–1.4 cm long, scales c. 2. Median sepal somewhat recurved, ovate, 0.8–1.4 by 0.65–0.7 cm, index 1.2–2.0; apex (acute-)acuminate; margins entire; glabrous; 3–5-nerved. Lateral sepals as the median sepal but oblique, (ovate-)triangular, 1.55–1.7 by 0.52–0.65 cm, index 2.6–3. Petals porrect, ovate, somewhat constricted in the apical half or not, 0.28–0.36 by 0.2–0.27 cm, index 1.3–1.4; apex obtuse; margins entire to somewhat erose, minutely pubescent towards the apex; surface adaxially minutely pubescent distally; 1-nerved. Lip hardly recurved, thick but not of spongy structure, ovate-oblong, 0.35–0.45 by 0.19–0.2 cm, index 1.9–2.3 (without spreading); margins entire, densely hairy in the basal half with each hair minutely hooked at the apex; surface c. glabrous; upper side largely convex, with 4 short ridges reaching up to c. 1/4–1/3 along the length of the lip: 2 rather low, rather narrow ridges with a rounded crest which start near the base c. half- way between the mid-nerve and the margins, and then gently converge without touching at the end, the area in between these ridges shallowly concave and with 2 more, very low and flat ridges which start at the base and run close together, with their crests touching over the mid-nerve of the lip, and which leave a small, round cavity in between them where they end; abaxial surface convex; apex rounded. Column including stelidia 0.15–0.22 cm long; ; column foot widened distally and with distinct, obliquely retrorse, obtuse teeth at the apex; stigma obovate, slightly protruding at its base; stelidia somewhat upwards falcate, narrowly triangular, 0.07–0.11 cm long, with acute apex. Anther above with a white, flattened crest, connective hardly drawn out and concave in front. Pollinia 4.

Flower: sepals pale yellow-green, slightly suffused pink in the central part, and with pink veins; petals pale yellow towards the base, vein pink-purple, apical part dark purple, indument pink; lip ochrish-red, grading to yellow at the apex, base white, hairs pale pink. Anther above with a white, flattened crest
