Epiphyte, small, 6-12 cm high. Rhizome very short. Roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs cylindrical-ovoid or ovoid, 0.7-1.7 by 0.3-0.7 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf elliptic-ligulate or ligulate, apiculate, glabrous, 4-10 by 0.7-1.5 cm near the middle; base gradually somewhat narrowed. Inflorescences 1-flowered, usually clustered, very short, 0.2-0.3 cm long, covered with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts very small, apiculate, much shorter than the ovary. Flower erect or suberect, small for the section. Sepals oblong, apiculate, glabrous, 0.4 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals minute, subfalcate, lanceolate-ligulate, subacute, glabrous, 0.1 cm long. Lip immobile, oblongoid-cylindrical, obtuse, 0.3 by 0.15 cm near the middle; at the base above with almost auricle-like margins; in apical half densely muricate-papillose. Column slightly curved; stelidia porrect, apically truncate, upper margin tridentate, with a long front tooth; without column-foot. Anther ovate-cordate, cucullate, glabrous, with oblong umbo.
