Glomera stolonifera Ormerod is quite different from other Glomera species in its stoloniferous habit (versus caespitose). The short, compressed stems, small leaves, and urceolate flowers are rather similar to other alpine Glomera species like G. gamosepalata and G. kanke. It differs in having an ellipsoid spur (versus conical to oblongoid).
