Type: NGF23408 (A. Millar) (holo: LAE; iso: AMES, BRI, BO, CANB, K, L).

Epiphytic or terrestrial herb. Rhizome short. Stem terete at base, becoming complanate, 29—36.5 by 0.2—0.5 cm, laxly 4—8-leaved or more. Leaves subpetiolate, ± oblong, 3—6.5 by 0.9—1.3 cm, 1.1—2.3 cm long and 0.4—0.7 cm wide; sheaths obcuneate, with truncate apex, smooth, lightly striate; apex sub-equally and obtusely bilobed. Inflorescences terminal, capitate, subglobose, c. 1.5 cm wide; spathe ovate-elliptic, acute, c. 2 by 1.2 cm. Flowers resupinate. Pedicel and ovary 6-ribbed, 0.5—0.7 cm long, glabrous. Median sepal broadly elliptic, 0.4—0.45 by 0.3—0.35 cm; apex shortly acuminate; 5-nerved. Lateral sepals connate to the back of the spur, elliptic-quadrate, c. 0.5 by 0.35 cm; apex very shortly acuminate; 5-nerved. Petals obovate-elliptic, c. 0.45 by 0.3 cm; apex very shortly and obtusely apiculate. Lip lamina fleshy, obovate, c. 0.2 by 0.2 cm; apex obtuse. Spur subglobose, c. 0.2 cm long. Column c. 0.16 cm long.

Leaves light to dark glossy green. Sepals and petals white to greenish-white, lip green to dark green with apex dark green to purple-black.

Lower montane to nontane forest. Altitude 1220—2200 m.

Glomera pseudomonanthos can be distinguished from the probably closely related G. subpetiolata Schltr. by its relatively short, flattened stems and leaf sheaths, (versus less flattened and more slender), oblong leaves (narrower leaves) and white flowers with a green tip and darker apex (versus only the apex of the lip dark green).
