Synonyms:
Rhizome short. Pseudobulbs crowded, 1-leaved, base fusiform, 2 by 0.65 cm, upper part very slender, 8-17.5 by 0.1-0.13 cm. Leaves linear, 8-10 by 0.43-0.5 cm, apex bidentate. Inflorescences 1-flowered, spathe 1.2-1.5 cm long. Pedicel and ovary 2.3 cm long. Flower c. 5 cm across. Dorsal sepal 3 cm by 3.6 mm; mentum c. 0.65 cm long. Petals 2.8 cm by 1.5 mm. Lip 3-lobed, 1.48 by 0.75 cm, with 2 keels, between the keels in apical part papillose-pubescent, not swollen; midlobe 0.88 by 0.48 cm. Column 0.26 cm long; column-foot 0.65.

Not recorded, presumably in rainforest. Altitude 80 m.

Dendrobium janowskyi J.J.Sm. is similar to Dendrobium sitanalae J.J.Sm. in lip shape and the hairy patch between the keels, but the latter has much sturdier pseudobulbs and much broader leaves.
