Synonyms:

Basionym: Dendrobium x intermedium Schltr.

Flowers similar in shape to Dendrobium lawesii but with a somewhat more pointed mentum. In size the flowers are more similar to Dendrobium flammula.


Flowers purple-red, orange-yellow in upper half.

Epiphyte in lower montane forest. Altitude 1200 m.

New Guinea (endemic).

Papua New Guinea (Morobe Province)

Intermediate growing epiphyte.

This is a natural hybrid between Dendrobium lawesii and Dendrobium flammula.
