Epiphyte, very small, 9-18 cm high. Rhizome very short. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs narrowly conical, 0.8-2.5 by 0.4-0.7 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf elliptic or elliptic-ligulate, acuminate, 7-14 by 2-3.5 cm near the middle; base cuneate. Inflorescences 1-flowered, very short, 0.5 cm high; peduncle-scales few. Floral bracts like the peduncle-scales, much shorter than the ovary. Flower erect. Sepals oblong, apiculate, 1 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals oblique, suborbicular, apiculate, 0.3 cm long. Lip curved, thick fleshy, ovate-oblongoid, obtuse, hardly longer than the petals. Column short; stelidia linear, obtuse; column-foot somewhat incurved. Anther oblongoid-ligulate, obtuse, glabrous. Sepals yellowish green striped brown. Petals and lip white spotted red.

Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 1000 m.
