Type: Barton s.n. (British New Guinea, Mt. Deakin).
Synonyms:
Stems flattened, 25 cm by 2 mm, many-leaved. Leaves linear, 2.5-5 by 0.4-0.5 cm, slightly keeled below, apex unequally bilobed. Inflorescences arising laterally from the stem, 1-flowered. Pedicel and ovary 0.4-0.5 cm long. Flower c. 0.4-0.5 cm long. Dorsal sepal narrowly ovate, keeled outside. Lateral sepals at the base much wider than dorsal sepal, keeled outside. Petals as long as the dorsal sepal but much narrower. Lip 3-lobed, longer than the sepals, fleshy, on the disc with prominent raised nerves; lateral lobes minute; midlobe rounded, obtuse. Column short, clinandrium muriculate outside.
