Rhizome pendulous, branched, thin, terete; covered with acuminate, keeled, membranous, tubular sheaths. Roots appressed to the rhizome. Pseudobulbs 0.5-1.7 cm apart, spirally arranged, appressed to the rhizome, laterally compressed, oblong, obtuse, 0.5-1.3 by 0.2-0.45 cm; base adnate to the rhizome; apex slightly recurved; underneath longitudinally channelled; 1-leaved. Leaf linear, acute subcoriaceous, c. 1.5-4.5 by 0.3-0.43 cm; base shortly conduplicate; above on either side of the midrib convex,. Inflorescences 1-flowered, from the nodes of the rhizome, fascicled, surrounded by small, dry, blackish sheaths; peduncle 0.25 cm long. Floral bract clasping and much exceeding the ovary, ovate-triangular; base tubular, 0.1 5 cm long. Flower very small, 0.3 cm long and wide; sepals divergent. Median sepal oblong-triangular, gradually subulate-acuminate and thickened, acute, 0.3 by 0.1 cm; basal part concave. Lateral sepals forming a very short, rounded-rectangular mentum with the column-foot, obliquely triangular, long subulate-acuminate and thickened, 0.3 cm by base 0.13 cm at the base; basal part concave. Petals very small, parallel, laxly appressed to the column, subovate-elliptic, obtuse, 0.1 by 0.06 cm. Lip mobile, porrect, slightly curved, oblong-ovate, obtuse, concave, 0.13 by almost 0.06 cm; apex slightly convex. Column small, 0.04 cm long; stelidia triangular, slightly curved, hardly longer than the anther. Anther cucullate, truncate, in outline quadrangular; connective thickened; column-foot making an obtuse angle with the ovary, linear, convex, 0.04 cm long. Pollinia ovate-triangular, pale yellow. Pseudobulbs pale green. Leaves pale green, above somewhat shiny. Floral bract pale green. Sepals yellowish, upper half pale orange. Petals white, apex slightly ochrish. Lip golden yellow, apex pale. Column white; column-foot pale orange.

Epiphyte in lowland forest.
