Synonyms:
Rhizome usually short, roots elongated, filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Stems crowded, patent, slender, slightly laterally compressed, 90 cm by 2-3 mm, many-leaved, unbranched or sparsely branched, rooting. Leaf sheaths almost entirely covering the stem, striate. Leaves often sharply reflexed, linear-lanceolate, 4-7 by 0.4-0.7 cm, apex acute. Inflorescences lateral from the stem, short; peduncle about twice as long as the spathe, 2-flowered, spathe semioblong, obtuse. Floral bracts minute, caducous. Pedicel and ovary 1 cm long, slender, glabrous. Flowers c. 3 cm across. Dorsal sepal narrowly lanceolate, 1.7 cm long, apex acute. Lateral sepals obliquely narrowly lanceolate, widened at the base, 1.7 cm long, apex acute; mentum 0.4 cm long, curved, obtuse. Petals obliquely linear, a little shorter than the sepals, apex acute. Lip 3-lobed below the middle, in outline oblong, 1.3 by 0.7 cm, with three parallel basal keels extending to the base of the midlobe, the basal half with sparse, tooth-like papillae, the midlobe sparsely covered with stalked nugget-like appendages; lateral lobes obliquely triangular, short, interior margin near the apex subdentate, apex obtuse; midlobe oblong-quadrate, margins subcrenulate-undulate, apex broadly obtuse, minutely apiculate. Column short, glabrous, clinandrium 3-lobulate, the lateral lobules short, few-dentate, the median small, triangular, tooth-like; column-foot incurved, 0.4 cm long. Anther obreniform-cucullate, glabrous.

Flower greenish white, outside lightly flushed brownish, column in front yellow.
Epiphyte in montane forest. Altitude 1200-1600 m.
New Guinea (endemic).
Intermediate growing epiphyte.
