Synonyms:
Stems (fragment described) more than 25 cm long, internodes 1-1.2 cm long. Leaf sheaths longer than the internodes, with longitudinal raised lines, minutely verruculose, at the apex with a conspicuous 5-angled, slightly pointed, obtuse, verruculose tooth opposite the leaf-blade. Leaves widely patent, twisted at the base so as to lie in one plane, ovate-lanceolate, 6-7.5 by 1.3-1.85 cm, papyraceous, apex unequally obtusely bidentate. Inflorescences laterally from the stems, 2-flowered, spathe 0.6-0.65 cm long. Pedicel 0.8 cm long; ovary 0.55 cm long. Flowers c. 7 cm across. Dorsal sepal 4 cm by 3.3 mm; mentum 0.5 cm long, obliquely truncate- obtuse. Petals 4.1 cm by 2 mm. Lip 3-lobed, when flattened 1.6 by 0.68 cm; midlobe 0.5 by 0.3 cm, with up to 3 mm long clavate hairs. Column 0.4 cm long; column-foot 0.55 cm long.
