Type: Bogor cult. (Gjellerup) 344 (holo BO)
Synonyms:
Similar to Bulbophyllum gerlandianum, . Differs in: Flower much more slender, remaining rather closed. Median sepal 30-40 by 7-8 mm, index 4.1-4.8. Lateral sepals 33-40 by 9-11 mm, index 3.2-3.7. Petals 26-33 by 4.5-8 mm, index 4.1-6.7. Stelidia with a deltoid obtuse wing along the lower margin, half-way the column or towards its base. (After Vermeulen, ms.)
Flower pale green with purple spots and with purple tips to the sepals.
Epiphyte in lowland forest; 60-160 m.
Malesia (New Guinea).
