Synonyms:

Terrestrial, ascending, 12-14 cm high. Rhizome stem-like, creeping. Roots rather thick, flexuose, finely villose. Stem at the base ascending, erect, terete, glabrous, up to 12 cm long, 0.3 cm diam., 5-6-leaved. Leaves erect-patent, petiolate, glabrous, blade oblong to oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, at the base rounded, oblique, 3.5-5.5 cm long, below the middle 1.7-2 cm wide; petiole at the base dilated, sheathing, 1.7-2.2 cm long. Inflorescence erect, peduncle short, with a few scales, sparsely and shortly glandulose-puberulous, to 1.5 cm long, densely many-flowered, flowering part ovoid to oblongoid, rachis glandulose-puberulous, 1.5-2.5 cm long. Floral bracts erect-patent, slightly surpassing the flowers. Flowers glabrous. Sepals ovate, obtuse, 3-nerved. Median sepal 0.3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, 0.35 cm long. Petals at the base clawed-ligulate, obliquely rhombic-ovate, obtuse, margins subcrenulate, as long as the median sepal and cohering to it along the interior. Lip in outline ovate, 0.2 cm long, cucullate-concave, obtusely apiculate, inside in basal half densely covered with subulate appendages. Column glabrous, rostellum rather long, notched to the middle. Ovary fusiform, cylindrical, twisted, 0.5 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1921).
