Synonyms:

Terrestrial, erect, small, 13-23 cm high. Rhizome decumbent, stem-like. Roots elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Stem leafy to above the middle, terete, glabrous, towards the inflorescence glandulose-puberulous, covered with several acuminate scale-leaves. Leaves 3-5, 3.5-6 cm long, below the middle 1.3-2.3 cm wide, patent, petiolate; blade lanceolate, acute, at the base more or less obliquely rounded; petiole dilated and sheathing at the base, 1-1.5 cm long. Inflorescence densely many-flowered, elongated, subsecund, rachis up to 7 cm long. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, erect-patent, as long as or a little shorter than the flowers. Flowers very small, erect-patent or erect. Sepals oblong, obtuse, outside glandulose-puberulous, 0.3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, at the base with the front margin a little widened. Petals obliquely obovate-spathulate, obtuse, glabrous, about as long as the sepals. Lip about as long as the petals, at the base ovate, cucullate-concave, narrowed towards the apex, at the apex weakly 3-lobulate, obtuse, inside in basal half sparsely covered with subulate-dentiform processes, otherwise glabrous. Column shorter, glabrous; rostellum large, very deeply notched. Anther oblong-subquadrate, cucullate, glabrous, in front broadly obtuse, dorsally with a lanceolate boss which is in front extended into a short point. Pollinia obliquely clavate; viscidium very large, oblanceolate. Ovary cylindrical, glandulose-puberulous, 0.4 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914).
