Synonyms:

Terrestrial, erect, 15-21 cm high. Rhizome stem-like, rooting. Roots flexuose, villose, rather thick. Stem erect, c. 4-5-leaved, terete, glabrous, 6-7 cm high, 0.25 cm diam. Leaves erect-patent or patent, petiolate, blade oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, rounded at the base, 3.5-4.2 cm long, in the middle or below the middle 1.2-1.6 cm wide; petiole at the base dilated, sheathing, up to 1 cm long Inflorescence weakly flexuose, with a few small, distant, acuminate sheaths, especially towards the apex glandulose-puberulous, peduncle 10 cm long; rachis rather densely many-flowered, subsecund, to 4 cm long. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, surpassing the ovary. Sepals ovate, obtuse, glabrous. Median sepal concave, hardly 0.3 cm long. Lateral sepals subfalcate, a little longer than the median sepal. Petals ligulate, obtuse, subfalcate, glabrous, cohering with the median sepal along the interior margins and almost as long. Lip in outline oblong, at the base subsaccate-cucullate, in the apical part attenuate and prolonged into a semi-oblong, obtuse, very small lobule, inside in the basal half covered with subulate, rather numerous appendages, at the apex minutely papillose, 0.35 cm long, near the middle 0.2 cm wide. Column dilated above the middle, 0.2 cm long. Ovary cylindrical, glandulose-puberulous, slightly curved, 0.5 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1921).
