Epiphyte, erect or patent, 20 cm long; rhizome very short, stems usually sparsely branched, slender, leafy, entirely covered by the leaf-sheaths, somewhat compressed; leaves erect-patent linear or linear-ligulate, obtuse, apex oblique, at the base subpetiolate-narrowed or with a very short petiole, glabrous, thick-carnose, 1.2-1.8 cm long, near the middle 1.5-2.5 cm wide; sheaths densely verruculose-rugulose, apex densely ciliate with fringe-like setae. Flowers solitary, glabrous. Sepals oblong apiculate, 1.2 cm long. Lateral sepals at the base along the front margin produced in a 0.4 cm long linear lobe, decurrent. Petals obliquely obovate-elliptic, broadly obtuse, 1.3 cm long, in the middle 0.9 cm wide. Lip up to above the middle adnate to the margin of the column, broadly rhombic, apiculate, cucullate-concave, 0.45 cm long, spur slender, filiform, subacute, as long as the ovary, 1.3 cm long. Column 0.25 cm high, glabrous, clinandrium entire, obliquely truncate. Anther broadly cucullate, with a shallowly notched swelling, glabrous, in front truncate. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, 1.3 cm long.
