Epiphyte, erect or erect-patent, small, up to 15 cm high; rhizome very short, roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous; stems erect-patent or patent, strongly branched, compressed, densely leafy, entirely covered by the leaf-sheaths; leaves patent, oblong or oblong-ligulate, unequally and obtuse bilobulate, glabrous, 7-1.5 cm long, in the middle 0.3-0.6 cm wide; sheaths closely appressed, compressed, shiny, weakly nervose, apical margins densely fimbriate-ciliate. Flowers solitary, glabrous. Spathe broadly elliptic, apiculate or short acuminate, cucullate-clasping, outside densely muricate-papillose. Floral bract hyaline, similar to but smaller than the spathe. Sepals oblong, obtuse, glabrous, 0.6 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, at the base widened along the front margin, decurrent. Petals obovate-oblong, broadly obtuse, subfalcate, as long as the sepals. Lip elliptic, subacute, 0.4 cm long, about 0.3 cm wide, spur oblong-quadrate, 0.25 cm long, 0.23 cm wide. Column short, glabrous, less than half as long as the lip, clinandrium rounded, irregularly dentate. Anther very broadly cucullate, obtusely umbonate, in front ascending, broadly obtuse, glabrous. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous. 0.4 cm long.
