Type: Schlechter 14661 (holo B, lost; iso K, P)

Roots elongated, filiform, flexuose, becoming glabrous. Stems decumbent to spreading, branching, slightly laterally compressed, to 30 cm long, many-leaved. Leaf sheaths with raised veins, minutely verruculose, keeled along the dorsal side. Leaves erect-patent, narrowly lanceolate, 3-5.5 by 0.6-0.9 cm, coriaceous, apex unequally bilobulate. Inflorescences terminal, capitate, racemose, nodding, subglobose, sessile, 12-25-flowered, the flowers at the base enveloped in a slimy substance. Floral bracts ovate, about as long as the ovary, apex acuminate, outer bracts foliaceous, very broad, slightly exceeding the flowers. Pedicel and ovary 0.6 cm long, cylindric, glabrous. Flowers c. 0.8 cm long. Dorsal sepal narrowly oblong-ligulate, 0.6 cm by 2 mm, apex narrowly obtuse. Lateral sepals 0.6 cm long, saccate-concave at the base, forming a broadly oblong, in front excised (acutely bilobate) blade. Petals obliquely linear-ligulate, almost as long as the dorsal sepal, apex narrowly obtuse. Lip blade very small, oblong, 0.15 cm long, spurred, apex shortly apiculate; spur oblong-ovoid, c. 0.2 cm long, broadly obtuse. Column very short, column-foot very long. Anther helmet-shaped, apiculate, in front broadly obtuse.

Epiphyte in hill forest. Altitude 600 m.
