Epiphyte, suberect or erect-patent, small, 10-20 cm high; rhizome very short, roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous; stems branched, compressed, leafy, entirely covered by the leaf-sheaths; leaves erect-patent, ligulate, apex strongly oblique, obtuse, at the base subcuneate, glabrous, 1.3-2.5 cm long, 0.25-0.3 cm wide; sheaths closely appressed, compressed, longitudinally striate-nervose, apex densely fimbriate-ciliate. Flowers solitary, glabrous. Spathe broadly elliptic, apiculate, outside with sparsely black dots, cucullate-clasping. Floral bract hyaline, similar to the spathe but smaller. Sepals oblong, obtuse with minute apiculum, 0.6 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, at the base widened along the front margin, decurrent. Petals above the narrower base broadly obovate, retuse, oblique, 0.7 cm long. Lip very broadly elliptic, narrowly obtuse, subacuminate, 0.3 cm long, near the middle 0.25 cm wide, spur oblongoid, obtuse, 0.2 cm long, 0.15 cm wide. Column short, less than half as long as the lip, glabrous, clinandrium triangular, unequally several-dentate. Anther very broadly cucullate, obtusely umbonate, in front somewhat ascending, broadly obtuse, glabrous. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, 0.4 cm long.
