Synonyms:
Terrestrial, erect, slender, 26-30 cm high. Roots flexuose, carnose, finely villose. Leaves basal single, petiolate, erect, blade elliptic-oblong, acuminate, rounded at the base, glabrous, 8-9 cm long, near the middle 3.8 cm wide; petiole slender, channelled, 4 cm long. Inflorescence slender, straight, terete, glabrous, with a few small, distant, acuminate scales, 0.2 cm diam.; rachis laxly 6-10-flowered, erect, 8 cm long. Floral bracts ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, slightly more than half as long as the ovary. Flowers suberect, not resupinate. Sepals ligulate-linear, acuminate, glabrous, 1.5 cm long. Median sepal deflexed. Lateral sepals erect-patent, oblique. Petals patent, obliquely ligulate-linear, acute, glabrous, 1 cm long. Lip erect, at the base concave, broadly triangular-dilated, oblong, rather obtuse, underneath glabrous, above on the blade very densely and very shortly papillose; hypochile near the margins densely papillose, with two indistinct longitudinal, minutely papillose swellings, otherwise glabrous; lip in total 1.5 cm long, above the base 0.6 cm wide, near the middle 0.45 cm wide. Column very short; clinandrium dorsally crenulate, higher, clearly exceeding the stigma. Ovary cylindrical, subsessile, glabrous, 1.5 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1919).
