Synonyms:

Epiphyte, climbing or creeping, to 80 cm long, dichotomously branched in different directions. Roots elongated, filiform, thin. Rhizome creeping or climbing, stem-like. Pseudobulbs widely spaced, ovate, strongly compressed, 1-1.3 by 0.5-0.6 cm below the middle; 1-leaved. Leaf lanceolate, acute or subacute, 3.5-5 by 0.9-1.1 cm below the middle; base contracted. Inflorescences 1-flowered, fascicled, distant, arising from the rhizome, including the flower 2.5-3 cm long; peduncle slender, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts ovate, acuminate, somewhat shorter than the ovary. . Sepals narrowly oblong, obtuse, glabrous, 0.7 cm long. Lateral sepals at the base along the front margin dilated, forming a short, obtuse mentum with the column-foot. Petals almost 4-5 times shorter than the sepals, obliquely oblong-spathulate, obtuse, glabrous, hardly 1.25 cm long. Lip oblong-ligulate, about as long as the sepals; base somewhat dilated; apex slightly swollen; margins in apical half finely ciliate with thin, glandulous hairs. Column short, glabrous; stelidia obliquely subulate, fairly large; column-foot medium size. Ovary subsessile, glabrous, cylindrical, hardly 0.6 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1923)
